Our showroom on Fylde Road in Preston opened in 2020 — a proper space where you can see, touch and experience the full James Albert range in person. From plantation shutters and made-to-measure curtains to motorised blind systems and Luxaflex® Silhouette® shades, everything we offer is represented here.
There's no pressure to buy, no appointment needed Monday to Friday, and no scripts. You'll speak with someone from our team who knows every product we stock and can give you honest, informed advice about what will work best in your home.
We serve customers from across Lancashire — Preston, Chorley, Blackburn, Blackpool, Leyland and beyond. Many customers visit the showroom first, then book a free home survey so we can measure up and bring samples directly to their windows.

Walk in Monday to Friday during opening hours and you'll be welcomed by a member of our team. Saturday visits are available by appointment — call ahead and we'll arrange a time that suits you.
Our showroom is set up so you can see products displayed as they would be in a real home — not in a cabinet or on a stand. Handle fabrics, operate blinds and shutters, see how motorised systems work in practice.
Every member of our team knows the products inside out. We'll answer every question honestly — including telling you if a simpler or less expensive option is the right one for your window. There's no commission, no quota and no hard sell.
We stock a comprehensive range of fabric and material samples across every product category — blinds, curtains, shutters and more. See colours, textures and opacities in the showroom light before committing to anything.
Many customers use their showroom visit to narrow down their options, then book a free home survey where we visit with samples and take precise measurements. There's no extra cost for the survey and no obligation to proceed.
Parking is available directly at the showroom on Fylde Road. We're easy to find and easy to get to from across Preston and the surrounding Lancashire towns.

Absolutely — and if you bring your window measurements with you, we can give you an accurate guide price on the spot. Width, drop and whether you're fitting inside or outside the recess is all we need to work from. Bear in mind that guide prices are based on your measurements; for a final confirmed quote we'll always carry out a free home survey ourselves, as small differences in measurement can affect the finished result. Our survey is free and without obligation.
